My name is Tim Oliver, a Licensed Massage Therapist and Massage Instructor originally from Ohio. After many years in retail, the events of September 11th opened my eyes to the brevity of life and enjoying every healthy day of it. I decided to change careers to one in which I could help people live longer, healthier, and happier lives. I chose to quit my job and move to New Orleans to attend massage school at Blue Cliff College of Massage Therapy. I graduated at the top of my class, and have subsequently taken hundreds of hours of continuing education to improve my skills and to provide better and better therapy for my clients. I currently practice Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Sculpting, Myofascial Release Therapy, Sports Massage, Reflexology, Lymph Drainage Therapy. I practiced in Texas for almost 8 years, then Georgia and South Carolina. I have now brought my experience to Tucson! I work from my apartment in the Oakflower neighborhood.
I have often been asked to describe my style of massage, and I find that very difficult to do! Every massage session is designed for the maximum benefit of the client, and that will vary from client to client, and session to session. Sessions can range from light and relaxing, to deep and therapeutic, to rehabilitative, to energetic.
I recognize that I am not the perfect massage therapist for everyone, but I am the best massage therapist that I can possibly be at this moment of time. I am constantly striving to learn more and get better and better. My client is my focus, every client is treated with respect, and my hope is that every client will benefit from my therapeutic massage.
